Gregory Facey is a husband and father of children with hearing loss. For the last 15 years, Gregory has been helping his community with a focus on elevating equitable access to educational resources for youth. He served on the Citizens’ Commission on Public Service and Compensation in Tucson Arizona. Greg has been a panelist for the Department of Education on the “Parents Talk Virtual Roundtable Conversation” and a guest speaker at the NABSE’s Parent Summit “Promoting Your Child’s Literacy During Covid.” Gregory lives by a quote from Booker T. Washington: “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.”
