Dr. Felicia Durden is an accomplished Educator with over twenty years of experience in Education. She holds a Doctorate of Education degree in Educational Leadership, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Dr. Durden has vast experience in education. She has taught all grades from Kindergarten to College. Some of the various roles she has held are Title 1 specialist, Reading Recovery Teacher, Master Teacher, Principal, Director of Reading and Writing, Associate Superintendent for the Arizona Department and Education, and she currently serves as Executive Director of Students Services at ASU Preparatory. Dr. Durden has a passion for literacy and leadership and is the author of numerous educational books. Dr. Durden considers herself a lifelong learner. She aims to prepare teachers to provide the best instruction possible for their learners.
