Christina Bustos

Christina Bustos, Chicana educator, mother, and activist. She attended Arizona State University, receiving a BAE from the Multilingual Multicultural program & a Master of Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Bilingual Education. She just finished the first year of her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Evaluation. She worked in schools where most students were students of color, which is of the utmost importance to her as a teacher, activist, and community member for 20 years and counting.

Being Seen in the Classroom Library

Educators will gain practical tips for auditing classroom and virtual libraries, weeding out text that no longer serves the community, and understanding why diverse populations must be represented in the classroom both virtually and in person.
