Myshell Gresham

Myshell Gresham wears many hats, affectionally referring to herself as “The Relationship Maverick or Coaching Maverick,” depending on the context and role she is facilitating. She is a risk management and finance professional, a development coach, a champion for diversity, and an advocate for her community, with over 20 years of experience across the United States. Her most cherished role is as Mom.

Myshell's career journey is a testament to her adaptability and continuous growth. In April 2021, she joined the Ascot Group as the Vice President and ascended to SVP of Partnership Engagement in 2023. Before this, she honed her broker skills at Willis Towers Watson as an Account Executive in Phoenix, managing complex global clients. Her 19-year tenure at AIG saw her in various roles, including Client Director, VP of Credit Risk for the Commercial Casualty Credit Group, Executive Liability Underwriter, and other roles in the early years of her career. She kickstarted her career at Summit Bank, where she served as a commercial investment bank credit analyst for the Healthcare and Media Industry.

Myshell is a passionate advocate for inclusion, who supports her colleagues to find their motivation. She has contributed significantly to various organizations, including serving as Business Advisor for the AIG San Francisco Women and Allies Employee Resource Group, President of AIG Black Professionals Employee Resource Group in New York, and relaunching the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) New York chapter in 2015. Her efforts led to her recognition on Insurance Business America's Hot 100 list in 2019.

Myshell's commitment to community service is a cornerstone of her professional life. Currently, she serves as an Associate Board Member for Junior Achievement Central Arizona and is a board member of the Arizona Chapter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF). Her past roles include Chair and Vice-Chair for the IICF, member of the Advisory Board for Playworks of Arizona, and Executive Board member for the IICF. In 2019, she chaired the Northern California Dress for Success annual holiday fundraiser. Her extensive community involvement reflects her strong sense of community and dedication to making a difference.

Myshell is a graduate of Hampton University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.  She holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation, a Credit Risk Certification, NeuroLeadership Coaching Certification, and is a matriculating CPCU student.
