Dr. Comel Belin, PhD has provided school based psychological evaluations, counseling, and behavioral interventions for children throughout Arizona’s schools for over fifteen years. Certified in Child and Family Forensics Dr. Belin specializes in trauma informed evaluations and wide ranging psychoeducational issues addressing developmental, behavioral, emotional and learning disabilities. As a contract provider, trainer and consultant, Dr. Belin serves culturally and linguistically diverse school populations, and is a strong advocate of culturally informed delivery of mental health services across school settings.
Her service model adheres to professional and ethical standards of practice established by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Belin believes that success for struggling learners is best accomplished by facilitating healthy and respectful relationships between schools and parents.
