Governor Hobbs with educators at the Arizona Alliance of Black School Educators Teacher Leadership Summit
One of the Governor’s top priorities is to support Arizona’s educators. The Governor has prioritized educator retention and created the Educator Retention Task Force to make recommendations to improve retention. As a part of this work, the Governor and Task Force have made it a priority to hear from Arizona educators, education support professionals, and former educators about your experiences and what could be done to improve them.
Your feedback is important and will inform the Task Force’s recommendations and the Governor’s priorities. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and is anonymous.

Governor Hobbs created the Educator Retention Task Force by Executive Order in February 2023 to make recommendations to improve educator retention in Arizona. The Task Force is focused on elevating the voices and perspectives of Arizona educators as it seeks to address our educator retention crisis. The Task Force has created a survey to hear directly from Arizona educators and former educators about what encourages them to stay in the profession and what factors have led others to lead the profession.
