Arizona Alliance of Black
Lawrence Robinson currently serves as the Policy Advisor to Mayor Greg Stanton on issues including education and homelessness. Since 2012, Robinson has been a professor at the Arizona Summit Law School, where he teaches courses including civil rights and constitutional litigation. His research focuses on municipal governance and education law issues. Previously, he served as a staff attorney for at the Arizona House of Representatives for the Democratic Caucus, where he focused primarily on issues of immigration, public safety, and government. Lawrence is a member of the Roosevelt School District Governing Board, where he has championed an innovative anti-bullying policy, expanded access to after school programs, and founded a non-profit called Good Things Grow building outdoor classrooms where students can get their hands dirty learning about STEM.
